Networking for Success in Victoria

Networking BallThis workshop is perfect for newcomers and local residents who want to develop their networking skills. If you don’t already have a job, or just want to make new friends in Victoria, networking is a critical skill, yet many people have a strong aversion to the concept of networking. They may think it means being “salesy” or ‘fake” and yet it doesn’t have to be that way. I’ll help you to show up at networking events authentically and in a way that others will want to connect with you. If you’re looking for work in Victoria, networking is essential. You’ve probably heard of the unpublished job market, where up to 50% of the job opportunities in a city are never advertised – in Victoria it’s more like 80-90%. Most positions are filled by word of mouth referrals and you’ll want to network to uncover unpublished opportunities that could be perfect for you. This two and a half hour workshop will give you tools and confidence to become a more confident networker, even if you’ve never done it before. If you’re a newcomer, you may also find you make some good connections with local residents and you’ll discover some of the many opportunities that exist in Victoria to practice your networking skills.

You’ll also have the opportunity to book a complimentary one-on-one 15 minute coaching/support call to refine your 30 second introduction and get personalized advice to support you in achieving your networking goals.

Here’s what previous participants enjoyed the most:
Open friendly environment
Concrete resources and information to help me move forward with my networking
Well organized and presented
The authenticity of the coach
Small group, easy feel
Great handouts

What’s Important to Me NOW? Workshop

Sue Headshot w White SpaceAre you overwhelmed by the many competing demands upon your time? Take time to pause and get CLARITY on your most important priorities in your personal and business life and tools to help you stay on track and honour those priorities. Invest just 3 hours of your time in this powerful workshop and get crystal clear on your priorities for this phase of your life.

In a small group setting (no more than 6 participants) we’ll explore your priorities in 6 key areas of your life. While the opportunity exists for you to share some of your thoughts with the group if you wish, the major focus of the workshop is on creating a time and space for you to reflect on what for you, is most important in each of these key areas at this point in your life.

Previous participants have been amazed at how simply making this time to participate in this workshop helped them set and stick to their personal priorities and reduce their sense of stress and overwhelm. You’ll leave the workshop feeling empowered and more confident in the choices you make. You’ll be able to politely say “No thank you” to people and activities that don’t uplift you and you’ll create a space in your life to attract more of what you DO want.

Here’s what my client Jeff Dallin, Owner of Innovative Fitness in Victoria had to say after I conducted this workshop for him and his staff:
